Paint condition of a 2021 Tesla Model 3 with 47,000 KM?

A quick search online would tell you what the quality of the paint is like on a Tesla.

In this video, I have a black 2021 Tesla Model 3, city driven for about 47,000km (average 11,750 km per year) in Vancouver. This Model 3 has only been washed regularly and no protective product were applied. Condition of other vehicles with similar age and mileage might not be all like this, but this is a good example.

From the video, you can see rock chips, pitting, scratches, which are all part of normal wear and tear. With products available in the market nowadays like Paint Protection Film (aka PPF or Clear Bra), all these damages could have been prevented keeping your vehicle in pristine condition for many years to come.

To avoid rock chips, pitted paint, and scratches, I would recommend protecting your Tesla with Paint Protection Film. To be more specific, I suggest going with our PPF Package C – Full Front End Protection or ideally with PPF Package C+ – Full Front End + Lower Doors/ Rockers. If your budget allows, then full body PPF would be ideal as it’ll give you complete peace of mind! You can view our coverage diagrams and our different PPF Packages here.

Ever since 2017, we at Speed Projects Laboratory we are the experts at this. We’ve have been protecting countless of vehicles here in Vancouver, BC, Canada with PPF and ceramic coating. If you would like to know more about PPF or if it’s right for you, contact us today!
